Bea and Evie

Today was the Artizan fair in Frome and what a day! It was lifting with people from the moment it started. I spent the day working in Bea and Evie (not a chore as you can imagine) where Tina has created a window showing my childrens hats. It was so busy in there with lots of people (some famous!) buying and trying. If you didn't make it this time make a note in your diaries for the next....the first Sunday of the month from 10-1pm. Hope you all had a great weekend.

  1. Sounds like you had a busy time, hope you sold lots of your lovely hats? I have that book Where women create, great book, both inspiring and depressing at the same time! Inspiring looking at all that amazing work, depressing as Im stuck in the spare bedroom with to much clutter!! jane xx

  4. Hi Clare,
I was sorry to miss it this time...so much going on at home at the moment...

I'm not sure why, but its suddenly become very difficult for me to leave comments on your blog - your blog takes ages to load, sometimes not at all, and then I open the comment window and that takes ages too...very frustrating, this time I went away and did something else whilst it loaded! Hope it will settle down...

I loved the A level work - my daughter took A level art - it must be lovely teaching students who have actually chosen to study the subject, rather than teaching those who have to do it as part of the timetable.

    Enjoy your week,
    Niki

  5. I remember your beautiful hats from the V&H fair, the window looks lovely.
Thanks for your comment about my garden, if you want to try & grow veg start with runner beans. You can't go wrong with them & they grow really well which is ok if you like beans!!! I'm still eating mine from last year that have been frozen! :)

  6. Hi Claire,

Yes we were in Frome on Saturday and I really wanted to look in at Bea and Evie's but DH is to be honest a nightmare to look at shops with, and unfortunately for me at the moment so are the girls although Lala is getting better. We will definately be going back to that campsite at some point although might not be this year as they are so booked up! The hats looked great in the shop window though! you must be so very proud!

I too have been having problems loading up your website. It freezes the screen for ages. Not sure why. Must have the gremlins in! lol

  8. Hi Clare,
I hope you and yours are all well.
Ok, the disaster with 'our' music - just when I thought I had mastered it!!!
    Fear not!
I'm not idling, I have been finding out how we can still have music on our page.
The web site you can now download your lovely music from is: www.mixpod.com
Love this photo of your gorgeous hats in the shop window.
    Take care,
    Wendy x
