The weather has been awful by us but on the plus side I have been able to curl up by the fire with my crochet and dare I say it... a mince pie!! I've finished a buggy blanket for my little one but as you can see it seems to have been adopted by our Purdy cat who has been a real home bird since our other cat died. I've also made a scarf for my eldest using some lovely soft yarn and am now making some crochet robins thanks to Attic24's tutorial (the best crochet blog ever...thanks so much!). I attended a crochet course at Marmalade Yarns in Frome and I can highly recommend it, even if you know crochet already they have the best selection of tempting yarns I've ever seen so do pop along if you're around. Hope its not too rainy and wild outside by you.....perhaps I should have a mulled wine to go with the mince pie?

Oh I should say so! Loving your little kitten.
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous - Dusty?, or having got her in all this bad weather Misty!
Good for you C....crochet is so soothing. Seeing you love crochet and you need a kitty name, maybe..... 'Treble'.
ReplyDeleteOh Clare,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about Milton. We become so attached to our pets, I say pets - obviously I mean 'members of the family'.
I'm glad to see you have Pardy to spoil with your beautiful crochet work.
Are you just saying you are eating mince pies already to make me feel better?
Yep, guilty - actually making no apologies for it.
I can't wait for Christmas.
